CROSSROAD CHILD & FAMILY SERVICES:

Join the Crossroad team, and you will receive the needed training to work with at-risk youth. Crossroad is a nonprofit organization employing more than 100 full-time and part-time individuals in a variety of positions. Employees invest their skills, expertise, and passion in the challenging and rewarding mission of creating promising futures for emotionally troubled children and their families — whatever it takes.

Tasks include:
  • Supervising youth.
  • Role modeling for youth.
  • Teaching life skills to youth.
  • Assisting with education and recreation programs for youth.
  • Interacting with, caring for, and advocating for youth.

Positions needed (Full-time):
  • 2nd and 3rd shifts available, with the potential to move to 1st shift.
  • 2nd shift (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm during weekdays and weekends).
  • 3rd shift (10:30 pm - 7:00 am during weekdays and weekends.
  • Staff work 4 days on/ 2 days off.
  • Must be able to work weekends.
  • Potential to move to the first shift (6:30 am - 3:30 pm) after 90 days.
  • $14.50 - $16.00 hourly (2nd shift).

Positions needed (Part-time):
  • 1st shift, 2nd shift, 3rd shift hours needed.
  • Flexible scheduling.
  • Must be able to work weekend hours.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Background working with at-risk youth or those with behavioral or emotional disorders is desirable.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be willing to submit to background checks and drug screens.
  • Weekend availability is necessary.
  • Must be able to attend the first 2 weeks of orientation/training (12-8 pm Monday-Friday).

All Crossroad employees need to have received the COVID vaccination or will have to fill out paperwork for a medical or religious exemption.
